Griffin Turns 5

When asked what kind of party he wanted, Griffin replied, "A pirate bowling party."

"Huh?"

Well, here's his version:

First, purchase some pirate eye patches and earrings. Next, take a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds bowling.

Then go home and blow out candles on a spider/Halloween cake.

And finally, head out back and hit a Mexican pinata.

I'll admit: It made little sense.

But he loved every minute of it!

I think a pirate bowling/halloween/Mexican pinata party looks fun. How smart of him to get all the fun in on one party. I wonder what next year will bring:) Fun times!!!!

I can't believe how much he has grown. What a doll. Good for you for letting him do his party 'his' way. Sometimes I have to remind myself...that I don't always need to be in control.
