MIA

I'm on vacation! The real Griswold family summer vacation type vacation. Crossing four states in a mini van. As we pulled out of our driveway, I looked at Mr. Wicke and said, "Okay. We are going to have to have a sense of humor, 'cause you know nothing is going to go right." Happily we have kept our humor (most of the time) and things have gone very right (most of the time.) Right now we are here:

Tomorrow we head here:

And before we are through we'll be visiting here:

We've enjoyed two family reunions, hiked the Narrows at Zion's National Park, celebrated Pioneer Day in style, spent an afternoon at Five Springs in the Big Horn Mountains, visited friends and family along the way, and we're not done yet! Mesa, you're going to have to wait a bit longer yet.

And P.S. I'm soooo loving my hair!

All About That

Can it really have been two weeks? What happened??

Well...you know how Mr. Wicke sometimes sends me away for a couple of float days to recover my sanity? Well, he did that. And then one of my best friends adopted a baby, so we've been celebrating that. Then Mr. Wicke turned 39, so we had to have a couple of parties for that. And then I had a serious meeting with myself and determined that it is time to shed the remaining 15 lbs of baby weight so I have started running every day to get rid of that. (Maybe you know how much I hate that.) And I've started cutting calories; no fun in that. Besides the kids are out of school, and you know there's never any extra time because of that.

So, two weeks come and go just like that. And that's that.
