Extended Hiatus

Some friends, quite happily, were able to extend their stay by a couple of days, so I won't be back officially until Wednesday. There is much to tell, like how I was artificially inseminated on Friday, right in the middle of all the company. Here's all I'll say about it: God's way of making babies is ever so much more enjoyable! Ouch! Plus I've been bloated and cramping since. Science may be amazing, but it sure isn't a lot of fun!

Good luck! I hope you get a baby! My sister went through several years of infertility and I watched her go through it. She finally had a baby last fall.
Yeah!

Good luck, Laurel. I hope it all goes well for you. All those shots are a drag but the end result is well worth it. Can't wait to hear something.

I can't wait to hear more about it. What we are able to do these days to create a baby is so amazing, and thank goodness we live in a time that they can do things like this. Even though this way is in no shape or form glamorous or sexy, if it still blesses you with a tiny part of you and you get to enjoy the beauty of pregnancy and labor...it will be all worth it.
I'm praying for you. Love you tons!

Lots of baby prayers for you! I'm so excited! I can't wait to hear the good news! I'm glad your friends are visiting to help you to keep your mind on other things. Waiting for that &%$#@ pink line to show up on the "pee stick" is so frustrating.

And just so you know - you can buy pregnancy tests at the dollar store. They work just the same! :)

Oh, bless you! I hope that the next two weeks go quickly. I'm thinking of you and your family.

I'd love to hear how Logan and Griffin are dealing with all this. Do they know/understand? I bet that Logan is beside herself with excitement if she knows. There is nothing quite like big sister love.

looks like we are all going to be waiting... holding our breath and hoping for the best. Company may have been the blessing in disguise. What a great diversion.
