Hello, Snow. Nice to meet you.

Over the vacation we drove six hours round trip to do this:

What I learned? I don't miss snow. It's fun to visit, but I'd rather shovel sunshine any day. My kids on the other hand wish that it "snowed in our swimming pool." Go figure.

Megan gave me a hard time since I haven't been commenting so here I am! Looks like you guys had fun! Great pics! I haven't taken my kids sledding yet. Mostly because they used the sled in the backyard during the summer to "pretend" they were snowboarding on the tramp and never put it away, so now it's buried somewhere in the backyard until 10 feet of snow.
If my hubby wasn't in the HVAC biz and didn't make money from it being cold, I'd totally want to move somewhere warmer!

You are MORE than welcome next Christmas. And if it's snow you want...we've got that too.
I've had the same problem with energy today... it's alittle thing I like to call holiday jet lag.

What a trip just for snow!!! We have so much, I would love to share if I could. I love the snow for Christmas but as soon as New Years is over I want the snow gone as well. Plus, it's so cold here, my master shower is frozen~ NOT FUN!!!!

Wonderful photos. All we seem to get is rain. All day - every day.

Cute pics! Love the snowman. As you saw on our blog, our snowman is made of paper...Xee was so popular with the kids at our Open House this year. We tried to go to the snow last year when we were in Fresno for Christmas, but everyone was sick. Uurgh! This year we didn't make it off this rock and the chances of snow here...well, pretty unlikely! Yea, we like that white powdery stuff once in a while, but we are quite happy to play in the sand! Btw, my latest post is an elaborate response to your question...I was in an interesting mood.

I shoveled snow three times today and so anytime you want to house swap and I would love some time poolside.

I sure hope that you and baby are still doing well. Hang in there the end is coming.....

Ditto. Utah can keep their snow. I'm enjoying the 70's. We even had a random 80 day. LOVE IT!

OH.MY.GOSH. That looks like so much fun. This from a woman who gets snow about every 5 years and who sleds on an old pizza pan!
