A Minor Mid-Paint Crisis
Yesterday I successfully coated two thirds of my loft in what appears to be pea soup. Last night I spent the majority of the evening questioning my taste level. This morning I am still in my bathrobe wishing that subtlety were part of my nature. It's not, so I guess I'll finish with the pea soup.

Subtly is not part of my nature either. My husband and I are looking at buying a fixer-uper and I have all sorts of grand ideas for green and yellow walls with blue ceilings. It'll be spectacular, I promise.
Thanks, Jessie. I always have to tell myself that it will look completely different when I get the stuff back up on the walls and window coverings. Always midway through I start thinking I'm a little nuts. I love other people's subtle colors, but I guess that is just not me.
I once painted a wall 5 times. After the 5th time, when I was still not happy, hubs had to take over. I COULD NOT paint that wall again!
Pictures please. I can't give an opinion without them...of course I am not sure if you want my opinion...I might start singing "ARABIAN NIGHTS..." or something... AT LEAST you can paint. I can't even fold laundry with a "little helper" tearing it all apart or trying to jump in the piles! AAAARRRGGGHHH! When will he be normal???
My mom painted most of her upstairs "Tobacco Road" and that night she panicked because she thought it looked like newborn baby poop. By the next morning, in the sunlight, it looked better and she liked it again--just give it a few days to get used to it and you'll probably like it. I too want pictures. Did you do "before" shots so we could see the before and after?
I totally thought the title of that post was "A Minor Mid-Pants Crisis," and I was thinking, "Oh yay! Another fun story from Laurel!
I've repainted right over a fresh coat of WHAT WAS I THINKING more than I care to remember. At least we're not afraid to try.
I love green. The majority of my house is green. I think I have good taste, so I'm sure your's is great! ;-)
