Here how it's gonna' work. Leave a comment about yourself here. Include things like who you are, how we might know each other, something you are passionate about--whatever you want--and your blog link if you so desire. Then click on someone else's link, check them out, and leave a comment saying you were there and wishing them a Merry Christmas. Maybe we'll make some new friends and spread the Christmas cheer.

How fun! What a great idea. We have been blogging together for years, but have met in real life. We're both small town girls who have found themselves in the big city.
My holidays are crazy as usual, but I did finally post something on the blog. Love this time of year, even with all the busy.
What a wonderful idea...to bad my blog is private...but I will leave a comment anyway. We have been friends for a very long time...it's funny because I think my mom was friends with you first...she loves you by the way! We are from the same area, and in highschool "hung out"...college "good ole' Ricks" was very fun as well. I hope to see you someday, maybe we will cross paths at a parade in "hometown". That would be great.
This time of year is so crazy...and when your husband springs a job transfer on top of that (with a BIG of bow) life is even more crazy....that's my life right now...Merry Christmas!
Fun!
We know each other via blogging, but I hope to change that the next time I'm in Arizona (my 20th's coming up in 1.5 years!). Right now I'm passionate about Cheetos. We don't have many snacks in the house. Ever. So when we do...I'm also passionate about my forced sabbatical from writing that is going on 2 months, now. A lovely time, really, and I'm kinda dreading going back.
And now I think I may need to make ME some wassail...
Wait. You went to Ricks? When were you there?
I was at Ricks from 89-90. A short lived stint. Then I transferred to the University of Wyoming and finished my degree there.
Tawnya, when were you at Ricks? And when you come to AZ, I had better get to meet you in person!
I will definitely let you know when we get to AZ. We are planning the whirlwind tour for 2012 (my DH has only ever seen my hometown and I want him to see a little more of NM / AZ).
I was at Ricks from 92-94. Which seems a LIFETIME ago!
We met in Riverton, WY when you were my Young Women's leader. I want to say it's for the Mia Maid class, but I can't be sure!!
Boy did we ever have fun!!
I caught up with you earlier this year on Facebook and then found out you had a blog. As they say...the rest is history!!
P.S. Remember my senior trip when I came to visit you in California!?!?!? MEMORIES!!
I know you through your husband. We use to work at the same office in Scottsdale. He is a great guy to go to for a good debate and a little church history lesson! He told me I would like your blog, and he was wrong...I LOVE your blog!!
Something i'm passionate about, photography!
my blog is givingawaythefarm.blogspot.com.
Thanks for all the awesome blogs! Happy Holidays!
Hello Bernadette, my husband has talked about you before, finally nice to be able to say hello! Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!!
Great idea!! My blog, like Kristy's, is private but I love when you leave comments.
We know each other from small town Wyo, I remember being in dance in grade school then cheering, for opposite teams, in HS. We were at UW together and back 'home' when Mr. Wicke student taught and Tony was teaching! You inspire me with your mommy stories and thoughts. You are blessed with a gift of writing and a way with words. Merry Christmas and remember to cherish this time with your kiddos.....they grow sooooo fast!
Each December Mr.Wright, my mailman, delivers a package of hope....a greeting from my boy and girl and their three lovlies in AZ; today was the day! My heart sings...Magnificat!!! My best to you dear Laurel...how I treasure you! Merry Christmas Love, yours...always, Shayne-o
Ah, Shayno...You know how I love you! May your Christmas be merry, and bright, and full of music. And may it bring us closer to a time when we can see each other in person! You make my heart happy! xoxo
Of course you know me because I am your neice. You are someone I've always admired and looked up to in our family.
Like you, I am far away from the family yhis year.
Every year that I am not home in Wyoming around all my family at Christmas time, I get a little sad. I was surrounded by so much family growing up and I was so lucky.
I have so many fun memories of Christmas with the family. You and Uncle Curt having a pie baking contest to see who could bake the best pie. I swear we had like 15 pies at Christmas Eve dinner that year! All the little kids putting on the nativity play for everyone. Singing songs around grandma Peterson as she plays the piano.
The uncles getting everyone to go sledding in the snow on that really long sled they used to have around town pulled by an Office Shop truck. Christmas breakfast at my Grandma Busteed's house and my grandpa Busteed sitting at the bar flipping pancakes all morning long for everyone. My mom and dad putting so much time and effort into making each Christmas wonderful and exciting for each one of their kids.
Now that I am the parent, and I live so far away from my family, the work of making Christmas wonderful and exciting is all on me. It is a lot of work and I appreciate my Christmas memories growing up so much more now.
My goal is to give my girls the kind of Christmas memories that I have.
Merry Christmas Aunt Laurel! I love you bunches!
I've never actually met you, but I feel like I have. We met through our blogs. You commented on mine first and I've never really been sure how you found me.
These days I'm passionate about, well, it seems like everything. My days are a haze of running to and fro'. Did you know that it was your comment that you missed me that started me blogging again? I thought that if someone whose writing *I* admire so much misses my writing, then I need to get back at it. Thanks for the inspiration!
Madam Queen, I think I was just blog jumping when I found you. I had just recently started blogging myself, and I was drawn to your writing. Funny isn't it how we've read each other's stuff for 3 years now, and I miss you when you take a break.
That's one of the drawbacks of this medium. I feel like I've made friends, but over the years they come and go as life gets busy. I find myself wondering about them.
I'm late to your party but finally catching up on your blog...
we finally figured out that we met once for real...but mostly we are just blogging kindred spirits.
i'm passionate about life.
I'm at JustAroundThisCorner.blogspot.com and I'm going to go visit someone else just because I like you.
xoxo
