Hi Laurel! Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog. I wouldn't call myself an "animal" person on any level but we do have a cat (total caving to the begging of a 9 yo) and I have grown to love her. Low maintenance--that's what makes it work for me! :-)
Why is it that kids would keep ANY stray animal. And sadly each and every time mine ask, I say no, I have 4 already. I grew up with all sorts of animals too.
Cats are too unpredictable, secretly they want to dominate the world so they get to the most vulnerable, kids. No really I hate cats cause when you go to love them you get the claws-never fails.

ReplyDeleteDid you know that at one point we had 7 cats? We are down to two now. Let me know if your porch kitty wants a buddy! :P

ReplyDeleteWhere are your pictures? They're lost!
ReplyDeleteI am sooo not an animal person...especially cats! Its because I am soo allergic! Luckily, my kids think they are allergic too!
ReplyDeleteYet another reason I like you. I hate cats and am glad there are not any in our neighborhood (yet).
