You heard it here first, folks. Tonight at 9:00pm MST I am being induced. Guess when the ultrasound suggests that you're having a NINE POUND baby, they let you go early. AAAAaaaaaahhhhhh! NINE POUNDS?! Please, dear Lord of heaven and earth, let that ultrasound be wrong, wrong, wrong.
Think of it this way - that is 9 pounds of weight gone!!! :) Yikes! How did you get such a big kid inside your little body? I will be crossing my fingers for a smooth, fast, easy delivery. :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, Laurel. I'm sure that everything will be ok. My mom in law had a 10 1/2 pounder. Thank goodness for drugs! :) I can't wait to hear about his arrival. Text me, sista! :) Loves.
ReplyDeleteIt usually is wrong. Good luck! Can't wait to see your new little baby:)
ReplyDeleteThey usually are.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you!!! Can't wait to see him.
WAHOO!! Glad he's coming!
ReplyDeleteNot glad for you that he's 9 pounds! YIKES~
They thought Sophie was at least 9 1/2 pounds (three weeks early). She came out 7lb. 10oz. The sad part was that the other pound and a half was actually just my behind! Good luck, sweet momma. We will say a prayer for the Wicke family tonight. Love you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!! Congratulations. Please update as soon as you can--with pics! I won't tell you until after about my ultra-sound experience or my son's weight! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteMany blessings!!!
Can't wait to meet him!
ReplyDeleteI am just reading this at 10pm my time, so you are just about getting started with the induction. I am so excited and nervous and happy for you! :)
ReplyDeleteI love you Laurlo! XOXO
You will do great! Congrats and can't wait to see pictures of your sweet son!
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well.... I am so excited just thinking about it. Birth is wonderful and a newborn is the most precious thing ever!!!
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to hear!!! The good thing about a big baby is they eat and sleep well. As far as coming out, don't have any experience there :).
ReplyDeleteSure the ONE time I don't look in the computer before I leave work......you ARE there!
ReplyDeleteGood luck my friend & know that you are in my thought & prayers!
Hi Honey...the other day at the grocery store I threw a ten pound bag of flour under the cart. Apparently I popped a hole in the damn thing because not long after I heard overhead about a 'clean up' on aisles 4, 5, and 6. I thought of you the whole time. By the way a ten pound bag of flour is heavy...I'm sure your tummy is holding only 6 or 7 pounds of sweet, sweet sugar...just like you! Welcome to our world little Wicke baby!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, man. That was 12 hours ago. You very well could be loving on that baby right now!!! I sure hope so. Connor was nine pounds, two weeks early. You will survive and still love it!
ReplyDeleteCan not wait to see the little guy.
WA-HOO!!! Except eat stuff beforehand because they try to STARVE you in the hospital, while bringing your husband a hamburger and FRENCH FRIES! Not that I'm speaking from personal experience or anything--but seriously, if I have to go into surgery, what does my full stomach have to do with it?
ReplyDeleteYeah the ultrasound can be way off--it was for me once, but on my last baby, it was eerily right. He was a big boy.
Can't wait to see pictures of the new little man.
Congrats lady-jane! I can't wait to see pictures of the little peanut!
ReplyDeleteShoot for only 1 push. I hear that's the way to go! ;>
OMG! See what I miss when I'm without power for 60 hours!!! Go Laurel! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteonly 1 lb off.............
